Monifa K. Gray

Monifa K. Gray joined Andrew M. Hale and Associates in 2010. Ms. Gray concentrates her practice in civil rights litigation. Prior to joining Andrew M. Hale and Associates, Ms. Gray was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Denise Page Hood in the Eastern District of Michigan, a Policy Analyst for the Michigan Senate and a Judicial Research Attorney in Oakland County Circuit Court.While at Vanderbilt University Law School, Ms. Gray was both the president and vice president of the Black Law Students Association and was an intern for the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Middle District of Tennessee and the Metropolitan Nashville Public Defenders Office. Ms. Gray is admitted to practice in Michigan.

Andrew M. Hale

Mr. Hale has been practicing law for over twenty years and concentrates his practice in civil rights litigation and business litigation. Mr. Hale is admitted to practice law in Illinois, California and Florida. Mr. Hale is also an avid New York Yankees and Fighting Illini fan.

Avi T. Kamionski

Avi Kamionski joined Andrew M. Hale & Associates in 2008. Mr. Kamionski concentrates his practice in civil rights litigation. Coming from the City of Chicago’s Corporation Counsel’s Office, Mr. Kamionski has litigated over one hundred fifty federal civil rights lawsuits. Mr. Kamionski is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the United States District Court Trial Bar.

Christina M. Liu

Christina M. Liu joined Andrew M. Hale & Associates in 2008. Ms. Liu concentrates her practice in business litigation and civil rights litigation. While pursuing her studies, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Donald L. Graham, Southern District of Florida, a legal and policy intern at the United Nations: Office of the Global Compact, and a trainee at Majmudar & Co., a national law firm in Mumbai, India.At the University of Miami, she was president of the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association, and received the “Dean’s Certificate of Achievement” for Legal Writing and Research and Alternative Dispute Resolution Law and Policy. Ms. Liu is admitted to practice in Illinois, the District of Columbia, and New York.

Shneur Nathan

Shneur Nathan joined Andrew M. Hale & Associates after spending three years at the City of Chicago’s Office of the Corporation Counsel and handling more than one hundred federal and state cases. He is a member of the Illinois and New York state bars, as well as the trial bar of the United States District Court. During law school, Mr. Nathan worked as an extern to Justice Margaret O’Mara Frossard of the Illinois Court of Appeals.

Helena B. Wright

Helena B. Wright joined Andrew M. Hale & Associates in 2010. Helena concentrates her practice in civil rights litigation. During law school, she was a legal intern for the City of Chicago, Department of Buildings.At Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Helena was vice president of the Black Law Students Association and served as a Managing Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. Also, she received numerous awards, which included the Thomas M. Cooley Honor’s Scholarship, Dean’s List honors, and the 2007 Black Law Students Association’s Academic Excellence Award. Following law school, she was a volunteer attorney for CARPLS Legal Aid and Women In Need Legal Defense and Educational Fund.Helena was born and raised in Chicago. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.
